What services do you offer?
We provide rubbish removal, house clearances, garden waste clearance, sofa and furniture collection, appliance disposal, skip hire, grab wagon hire, and commercial waste services.
What areas do you cover?
We operate across Huddersfield, Harrogate, Bradford, Wakefield, Leeds, Brighouse, Dewsbury, Pontefract, Castleford and the wider West and North Yorkshire region.
How do I get a quote?
Just send us a few photos of your waste via WhatsApp, our website, or email, and we’ll give you a free, no-obligation quote.
Where does my waste get taken?
All waste goes to a special disposal unit where we go on a weighbridge and are weighed and then we unload and are charged on the weight difference.
How much waste do you recycle?
We aim to recycle up to 90% of the waste we collect, meaning less goes to landfill. Items that are in a reusable condition we often give to local charities.
Do you offer skip hire?
Yes, we also provide skip hire. Check out our skip page to get a competitive skip-hire quote.
What hours/days do you collect?
Our office is open Monday to Saturday however, we collect waste out of hours too and on weekends.
Do you offer a same day service?
Yes, we can often offer same-day waste collection. Ask our office team who will always try to accommodate more immediate collection requests wherever possible.
What types of waste can't you collect?
Paints and paint strippers, licensable asbestos, gas or pressurized canisters such as kegs, oils or industrial chemicals.
How do I get a quote?
You can get a quote in several different ways. Our preference is via email, phone or by using our form on our website. We ask you to take some pictures of the waste and we will come back to you quickly with a price.
Do you come to the site to give a quote?
We can also come to the site where required to give a more detailed quote on larger jobs.
How do I submit photos of my waste for collection?
You can upload the images via our website, send a message via Facebook or email them directly at bookings@leeds-junk.co.uk
How can I pay for my waste collection?
We take card payments, cash and also Paypal and BACS payments
Do you collect/dispose of commercial waste?
Yes, we do all types of commercial waste from schools, shops and retail, sole traders, small businesses, restaurants and construction waste.
Do you collect green waste/garden waste?
Yes, we do collect and recycle all types of garden and green waste such as grass, tree cuttings, wood, mulch, gravel etc.
What areas do you cover?
We cover many areas in West Yorkshire but key areas are: Huddersfield, Harrogate, Bradford, Wakefield, Brighouse and Leeds.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes, we are a licensed waste carrier.
Do I have to load the waste into the van myself?
No, our waste teams do all the hard work including all loading so you can put your feet up!
Do you take hardcore and soil?
Yes, we take soil and hardcore.
Is waste removal cheaper than a skip?
Yes, often waste removal is cheaper than a skip. The cost depends on the quantity and type of waste so we encourage you to send your photos and get a quote.
Do you do full house clearances?
Yes, we do full house clearances and business and office clearouts. We also do full hoarder clearouts and garage clearances.
Do you dismantle, take items down like sheds etc?
Yes we take down and dispose of sheds and garden buildings and greenhouses.
Do you take large loads?
Yes, depending on the type of waste, we offer grab wagon services for loads over 3 ton, this is great for large volumes of brick, clean soil or garden waste!
How quickly can you collect my rubbish?
We often offer same-day or next-day collections, depending on availability.
